Amelia joined the Malvern East Physiotherapy team after graduating from Monash University where she completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) degree. Her interest in physiotherapy stemmed from an extensive sporting background competing at state and national levels in Calisthenics for 15 years. Amelia has gained a large amount of her experience over the past 4 years working at Werribee VFL Football Club and Old Xaverians Soccer Club and has a keen interest in sports related injuries.
She uses a hands on approach combined with exercise prescription and education in all her treatments. She prides herself on adapting her evidence based practice to the goals of her patients in order to provide a safe and quick return to their desired lifestyle.
Why do you love physiotherapy?
The more I learn about the profession, the more I like it. The combination of constantly learning as well as helping others is very unique.

Any river with a speed boat and family/friends.
