Pete joined the Malvern East Physiotherapy team after graduating from La Trobe University where he completed a Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Being an avid footballer, he has brought invaluable experience in sports injury management to Malvern East Physiotherapy.
He is passionate about using physiotherapy to guide his patients to reach their rehabilitation goals. He understands the importance of returning injured players to sport as quickly and safely as possible. He is currently the Head Physiotherapist at Red Hill Football Club.
Pete has a keen interest in running related injuries having researched the biomechanics of the lower limb and running technique. His research has included the effect of different running techniques on lower limb force and the effects of different footwear which he incorporates into his clinical work as well as his own training. In addition to his keen interest in running related injuries, Pete has also developed particular interest in the management of spinal pain and headaches.
Outside of work Pete is a Bombers supporter. He enjoys keeping fit by running and cycling during the football off-season. Pete is also a keen traveller, gardener and guitarist.
